The President of Tatarstan supported the initiative of the Russia-Singapore Business Club.
February 7, Executive Director of the Russia-Singapore Business Forum (RSBF), Michael Tay, and a managing partner of QCP, Giedrius Pukas, presented the concept of the Russia-Singapore Business Club to the President of the Republic of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov. Ildar Khalikov, the RT Prime Minister of Tatarstan, Midhat Shagiahmetov, Minister of Economy, Iskander Muflikhanov and Anatoly Krasnov, Aides to the President took part in the meeting, which was held in the Government House of the Republic of Tatarstan.
The Russia-Singapore Business Forum is a permanent structure within the Russia-Singapore Business Forum, which today is a unique business platform that connects the political and business elite of Russia and the CIS with Singapore and throughout Asia. Since 2006, Singapore passed 5 forums which have created new opportunities for cooperation and partnership between countries. Russia-Singapore Business Club, a nonprofit nongovernmental organization, is to support the further development of interests and business relations between Russia and Singapore, to provide critical bridge to businesses getting together, finding partners and building business profile in Asian markets and Russia/CIS.
The professional team of Quadro Capital Partners, being a co-organiser of Russia-Singapore Business Club, will provide advisory services for the Club members regarding the strategy, investment and market positioning, as well as public and government relations.
Representatives of Singapore would hold the first meeting of the Business Club in the second quarter of this year, and Rustam Minnikhanov suggested the possibility of holding this meeting in Kazan.
